I was contacted recently by the owner of a TVR S3 that's had an engine swap but it's seemingly experienced a catastrophic failure. The previous owner has done a neat job of installing a Jaguar AJ30 engine out of a noughties S-type but it appears to have seized - I've not seen the car yet but it certainly sounds that way from the description. The owner has already purchased a replacement engine and he dropped that off first so I could give it a look over before getting the car in. From what I can see it's in excellent order, inside it looks brand new and if the 11k written on the filler is the mileage he's got himself a bargain. I'm going to take a look in the sump while I'm at it and then put it back together with new cam cover, intake, exhaust & sump gaskets and seals.
