A quick update n the TVR that was dropped off yesterday. I made a start on getting the engine out and as soon as I had it up in the air I found the reason for the failure. I'd thought it must be related to external oil hoses rather than an internal issue and lo-and-behold I found a take off hose for the remote oil filter had come apart, whoever crimped it couldn't have done it properly. Most of the work required for removal has been completed today, the owner is coming up tomorrow to help with lifting the bonnet out of the way, then I've just got to remove a header that wraps around the bell-housing, undo the last bell-housing bolt, and yank the engine out.
