The Triumph Roadster I sold a month ago is starting to come together this week. I had some serious issues with the engine, pulled it out and found the crankshaft & bearings in a very poor state. My machine shop told me that whoever ground the crankshaft last had the rear main bearing journal 0.004" out of concentricity with the flywheel. It's now been re-ground and balanced and today I've assembled it with new bearings throughout and new gaskets and it's back in the car. Just got to fit the radiator and hoses, connect the exhaust system, fit a new oil filter and fill it up with oil and coolant and it'll be good to go.
