Through one of my customers I have been introduced to the guys at Nemesis, they are the UKs distributor of P1 synthetic fuels. This fuel and what it means for the future of the internal combustion engine is something that I feel strongly about and now I have the opportunity to not only try it in my cars but also offer it for sale. Today I took delivery of the first 108 litres of the future, hopefully the first order of many. I am not going to be doing this to make money, there is no margin available until the cost comes down and that won't happen until a lot more of it is manufactured and sold but we have to start somewhere. Here are a few salient points:
100% fossil free - sustainable fuel free of fossil components
Road fuel compliant - can be sold for use on the road in Europe, UK and the USA
Drop in fuel - requires no modifications to the vehicle & can be used along with pump fuel
High performance capability - power generated at least matches pump fuel (98 octane)
80% greenhouse gas reduction - P1 fuel emits 80% less CO2 than fossil fuel

As an aside I also think it's great that it can used in both of the cars in the photo, a 1924 Sizaire Freres 4RI and a 1984 Porsche 928S2.
