This 289 Mustang 2V and Bristol Brigand were both dropped off today for some work. The Bristol has been in before, we are working through small jobs that are cropping up now that it is being used regularly, this time I am fitting a fire extinguisher, moving the seats back 2" (allowance is built in to the car with 3 sets of captive nuts) and having the cooling fans overhauled as one has dropped its bearings. The Mustang is new to me and needs a tune-up, it's hard to start, misfiring, generally not behaving. One that is sorted there's quite a list of other niggles to work through over time, it can only get better and it's a pretty nice car to start with.
