Chris McPheat started McPheat Automotive in California in 2000, working mainly on European and American cars from the 40s to the 90s. On moving back to the UK in 2005 he spent 8 months working for Ivan Dutton Ltd, then, on moving to Cumbria, opened his own business . Since then McPheat Automotive has been able to include work on prewar cars, particularly Rolls-Royce & Bentley, as well as some of the lesser known European marques.
